In memory of my dad
I’m Elizabeth Solaka, a New York City wedding photographer based on the Upper East Side serving Manhattan and Brooklyn. Since I began photographing weddings in the 90s I’ve used medium format film and have focused on telling a beautiful heartfelt story. This simple approach has kept me inspired year after year.
Since every couple and every wedding story is so different, I never tire of finding new angles, light and perspectives. I remain curious and observant of the special way beauty reveals itself at each wedding. As time passes, I fall more in love with the process and keep adding couples to my circle of friends.
