My 30th year.

Ameer Armaly, Park Slope Brooklyn

I started photographing professionally in June 1996, and therefore my 30th anniversary is fast approaching. To celebrate, I’m having an art show on the Upper East Side. Message me for details. I’m not burnt out yet, in fact I’m still very inspired.

It’s been a busy spring. I photographed lots of people, including a Broadway program that lasted four days. Pictures not available due to copyright and privacy.

I photographed a family, a mom and two older kids in a park at sunset. It was tender and beautiful. And an honor.

I took grad pictures of a recent NYU grad. Lovely mother son moments. The mom didn’t expect to cry.

And also a bat mitzvah. Such a beautiful milestone and such big positive energy flowing during the candle lighting ceremony.

The dad is also a writer and he wanted a headshot. I also photographed Andrew Zimbalist, an Economics Professor.

Before that was a large wedding and a small wedding, but those will be featured in a separate post. Can’t wait to photograph a repeat of a family in a couple of weeks, as well as an event for venture capitalists. And whatever else pops up, as it always does. Here’s to 30 more years.
