Background
I grew up in Lafayette Park, Detroit. My mom was a ballerina and owner of a cheesecake business. My father was an architect and later a grocery store owner.
I drew inspiration from my childhood and while living in Paris, Berlin, Northern California and Bolivia, before settling in New York. I am a commercial, portrait and event photographer based in New York since 2003.
My list of clients includes the Hall Art Foundation, Sotheby’s, Gagosian Gallery, Myles Group, Columbia University, New York University and the Center for Jewish History.
My artwork has been exhibited in Paris, Boston, San Francisco, Berlin and New York. I hold a BA in Economics and French from Smith College and received my photography education at the Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, the Boston Architectural Center, and The New England School of Photography, Boston. My work has been published in The New York Times, Elle Magazine, and dozens of other publications in the US and Europe.
