Diwali
DIWALI
When I was called to do pictures for a small New York Diwali party, I was so excited. I have photographed so many Indian weddings, but never a Diwali celebration. I immediately bonded with the family, and we even created a little video for the event so their family in India could watch it.
The All-important Vendor list that made this event truly special:
Mughlai Indian Cuisine The food was so delicious my assistant kept running back for more.
Elite Events and Flowers did the lighting and over-the-top gorgeous decorations.
AUM Dance Creations provided the energy and tutorials everyone needed! As an aside, almost all of the parties I’ve photographed have had professional dancers, and it always makes it so much more festive!
And last but certainly not least was DJ Parth. I loved how he mixed new with old and created some seriously cool mashups. I was in photographer heaven.
